Senior Adults Ministry

“…do not forsake me, O God,
till I declare your power to the next generation,
your might to all who are to come.”
               Psalm 71:18

Welcome to the Senior Adults Ministry

The Senior Adult Ministry of Bell Shoals Baptist Church is a fellowship that desires to Follow Jesus, Love People, and Make Disciples.

Pastors John Martin and Ken Orihood are co-pastors for the Senior Adults Ministry here at Bell Shoals.

Our mission for the Senior Adults Ministry, simply put, it is to provide a ministry for mature adults which results in spiritual growth, outreach to the unsaved, nurturing and fellowship with one another so that God’s power will be declared to the next generation.

Although this might sound like quite a task the reality is that we have fun! And best of all we enjoy each other through encouragement and inspiring each other.

Jesus commanded us to go into the world and make disciples.  Bell Shoals Baptist Church is committed to that Biblical mandate.  One of our 4 values is relational discipleship. We value seeing people lead others to grow in their relationship with Jesus and become multiplying disciples.  We believe this happens best in the context of intentional relational discipleship. Bell Shoals offers the Senior Adults Ministry a variety of Discipleship resources including     7 Marks of a Disciple and One to One Discipleship.

These proven discipleship tools have been used to train new believers as well as vocational field personnel. For more information on the Discipleship Ministry please contact Pastor John Martin, at 813-689-4229 ext. 225, or Pastor Ken Orihood, at 813-689-4229 ext. 492.
