Evangelism

"Every Door Neighborhood Outreach" | 6:30-8pm | March 21 - May 30th | Location: Rm.172 South Side of Worship Center
Every Door Neighborhood Outreach is an opportunity for you to share your faith with those who live in our community. Teams will gather and go out, knocking on the doors of homes in the local neighborhoods surrounding Bell Shoals looking for opportunities to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Join us any Wednesday!


Financial Classes | 7:00 - 8:00 PM

"Financial Peace University" | Teachers: Chris Morris, David Hollis, Paul Smith, Steven Rosales | Wednesday's January 10 - May 30th | Annex E-5
We all need a plan for our money. Financial Peace University (FPU) is that plan! It teaches God's ways of handling money. Through video teaching, class discussions and interactive small group activities, FPU presents biblical, practical steps to get from where you are to where you've dreamed you could be. This plan will show you how to get rid of debt, manage your money, spend and save wisely, and much more!

The book of Ruth takes place during the period of the Judges, and is the story of one woman, separated from the blessings of Israel, who finds herself in the lineage of David and of Christ.

"Breaking the Curses & Feeling God's Blessings" | Teacher: Kevan Kruse | January 10 - May 30th | Annex E-10
Learn a simple prayer that can change everything! Have you ever wondered what the real barriers are that keep us from living the abundant life that Jesus promised us?  Why aren't Christians really that much different than the world?  Learn the answers in God's Word that will truly free our souls of the accusations that are hurled at us from both heaven and earth, and bring us into the blessings that God intends for all His children.

"Extreme Grand Parenting" | Teacher: John Martin | January 10 - May 30th | Annex E-15
Are you ready to take your grand parenting to the next level?  You'll learn how to make the most of this significant opportunity to imprint the next generation with grace whether your grandchildren live out of state, across town, or down the hall.  Discover how you can be not only a mentor but a spiritual rock for your grandchildren.  This study is full of fresh new, fun, ideas to connect to the hearts of your grandchildren.

"Jewish Roots" | Teacher: Bill Latham | January 10 - May 30th | Annex E-6
Christianity did not begin in 100 AD.  God's plan of redemption began in Genesis and continues today.  Bring your Bible each week for a survey -type class exploring god's plan of redemption from Adam, to the Jews, to today's Church.

"Dynamics of Biblical Households" | Teachers: Ken & Mendy Gray | Wednesday's January 10 - May 30th | Annex E-8
Do you know what your family’s core beliefs are? Are they based on the foundation of a biblical household? In this class, families both new and well-established are taught how to create a legacy that will draw your future generations, even children yet to be born (Psalm 78), to put their faith and trust in God and His ways for family. You will be equipped to share with other families through relational discipleship - doing life together. (This is not a parenting class - this class is about your whole family - even extended family.)

Women’s Classes

"Heart to Heart: Exodus" | Teacher: Aprile Sweers | January 24 - May 9th | Fellowship Hall
Heart to Heart presents Exodus, God's Power, Presence, and Purpose Revealed.  Exodus is the dramatic story of God drawing the Israelite's out of slavery in order to draw them into a relationship with Himself.  To know the plot of this redemption story is to recognize it as our own [and] understand the real purpose for our lives.  Through this study we hope to learn the story of Exodus, deepen our understanding of God's glorious character, grow in our awe and worship of Him, and fully embrace the freedom that has been so graciously secured for us in Christ.

"Precept James - A Faith That's Real" | Teacher: Theresa Miller | January 24 - May 9th | Annex E-4
Precepts presents Kay Arthur's James - A Faith That's Real.  What is true faith?  How should you live the Christian life?  Each verse of this practical study is alive with instructions, admonition, and encouragement.  Learn God's principles for dealing with trials, temptations, the tongue, and the pull of the world.

"Men's 33 Series" | Teacher: Hans Doerr, Paul Gruzlewski | January 10 - May 30th | Annex E-12
This is a video-based men's study designed to inspire and equip men to pursue authentic manhood as modeled by Jesus Christ in His 33 years on earth.

ESL | 6:30 - 8:00 pm

English as a Second Language for Adults | Real Hope House
The English as a Second Language program is for adults whose predominant language is not English. These classes provide the opportunity to learn English in a small classroom setting, and will stress the basic communication skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Bell Shoals Baptist Church will be offering these FREE classes beginning February 14, 2018. Classes will meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 - 8:00 pm. Free childcare and youth activities are available.

American Sign Language

American Sign Language - Beginning Class | Teacher: Inés Ortiz | Worship Center South, Room 177
The goal of each class is to teach others to communicate with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Beginner and Intermediate classes offered.

GriefShare | 6:45 - 8:00 PM

"GriefShare" |Teacher: Terry Delaney | January 10 - May 30th | Annex E-11
GriefShare is a ministry designed to provide love, comfort, hope, and encouragement to people who have suffered the loss of a loved one.  It also helps people navigate through the confusion and seemingly unending pain that come with their loss.
