ESL Training Certification Workshop

Are you interested in Teaching English As A Second Language?  If so, make plans to attend the ESL Training Workshop at Bell Shoals Baptist Church, Brandon Campus - Fellowship Hall, on Friday, August 17th from 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM and Saturday August 18th from 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM. Lunch will be provided on Saturday. The cost of the workshop is $10-15 depending upon the purchase of materials. Upon completion of this workshop you will be certified to teach ESL classes.

The ESL Certification Workshop will be taught by Pat Rayos. Pat has been teaching foundation, intermediate, and advanced level adult ESL classes since 2006.  Pat received her National Certification in ESL/EFL Training in June 2017, since that time, she has conducted three Basic workshops. In September 2017, Pat became the English Language Literacy Program director/teacher at the Catholic Charities Gainesville Bureau. Aside from teaching ESL classes and adult literacy, Pat leads groups in Bible study, using the Bible to learn English and to learn about God. Many of her students have little to no access to Bibles and other resources to know Who God is-and yet, they are hungry for the Word. These groups continue to expand and grow, primarily by word of mouth advertising of students.

Experience the joy of teaching ESL and helping others become proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English!

Deadline for workshop registration is Monday, August 13, 2018
