Elementary Kids Director/Pastor
The Elementary Director/Pastor oversees the 1st-5th grade ministry at the Brandon campus, the original and largest campus. This person will build and lead a team of committed volunteers while also helping to design and implement elementary-age programming. This includes casting a vision to move from Sunday School to Life Groups as well as implementing a large group worship service. As part of that worship service, the Elementary Director/Pastor must possess the skill and ability to personally communicate the Gospel to the kids in a fun, engaging way while also being able to train and coach volunteers to do the same.
- Identify, recruit, and train volunteers and leaders to be a part of a dynamic and gospel-centered kids ministry.
- Create and lead Elementary programming, overseeing the worship, and curriculum.
- Develop, maintain, and communicate safety and security policies/practices for the ministry.
- Empower parents to be the primary spiritual disciple-makers of their children through consistent communication and collaboration with the NextGen Team.
- Develop and maintain a strategy for reaching and assimilating new kids and families.
- Develop an annual budget for Elementary Kids Ministry and manage the spending budget.
