Shoal Kids Preschool Ministry Administrative Assistant

Purpose:

The Preschool Administrative Assistant will support the Shoal Kids Preschool Director. This person will have office responsibilities during the week and assist on Sunday, providing administrative support to help further the mission and ministry of Shoal Kids.

Hours: 30 hours per week
Reports to: Shoal Kids Preschool Director at the Brandon Campus
Responsibilities:
  1. General office tasks to support the Preschool Director including, but not limited to, monitoring and ordering supplies, printing and organizing materials for weekly programming and events, assisting with communication to staff, volunteers, and families.
  2. Use of internal systems such as Event U, Streamline, and Ministry Platform for projects and events.
  3. Manage budget accounts, complete purchase orders, check requests, and complete transfer requests.
  4. Monitor background checks on volunteers to ensure they are up to date.
  5. Assist Preschool Director with organizational details of events and activities.
  6. Complete other assigned tasks to advance the ministry and mission of Shoal Kids.
Qualifications:
  1. Passionate and enthusiastic about the values and mission of Bell Shoals.
  2. Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  3. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail, computer skills, and budget management.
  4. Ability to maintain confidentiality in regards to personnel, volunteers, and families.
  5. College degree preferred, but not required.
